"Hello again, and welcome back to the second installment of our Plastic to Fuel series! We are incredibly excited to update you on the latest developments in our mission to combat plastic pollution and create a greener, cleaner world.
First and foremost, we are thrilled to introduce a new addition to our team! Meet Daniel, our passionate and dedicated prototyping engineer. Daniels expertise in the field of building new things will be instrumental in enhancing our plastic-to-fuel conversion process.
In our pursuit of good data, we've recently acquired a GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) machine for comprehensive chemical analysis. This technology allows us to better understand the composition of various fuel fractions, enabling us to optimize our conversion process for maximum efficiency and environmental impact reduction.
Exciting news on the partnership front! We are proud to announce our collaboration with Garlock Sealing Technologies, a leading company in industrial sealing solutions. This partnership will bring us valuable expertise in materials and engineering, helping us ensure the durability and performance of our plastic-to-fuel systems.
On the production front, we're delighted to share that we've successfully manufactured all the parts required for our new system. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our journey towards a sustainable future.
Now, here's where we need your input! We believe in the power of community and collaboration, and we want you to be a part of shaping our future. We are currently seeking suggestions for a new name for our startup. Your creative ideas and suggestions will play a crucial role in defining our identity and mission. Leave your name suggestions in the comments section below, and together, we'll find the perfect name that reflects our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey. Stay tuned for more updates in our Plastic to Fuel series, where we'll continue to share insights, success stories, and our unwavering dedication to combating plastic pollution. Together, we can make a real difference in the world. Let's keep pushing forward towards a cleaner planet!"

deacidifying pyrolysis oil / extraction of naphthenic acid from synthetic oil
Переглядів 45 тис.4 роки тому
hello you all in this video we will be working with the previously made pyrolysis oil to make the pyrolysis oil more usable we need to get rid of the acidic compounds that were formed during the pyrolysis process. Therefore we perform a simple extraction with sodium hydroxide and regenerate the naphthenic acids by reacting the sodium slats formed in the extraction with hydrochloric acid

You have dealt with the hazards of melting plastic. I have not. I want to melt my mountain dew bottles and caps. Then, while the plastic is melted, pour it into a brick mold that has black sand and pea gravel in the bottom. I want to make a driveway out of these bricks. Do you think this is a good idea? What hazards or problems could occur?
Has anyone tried this with black PLA - is there any discolouration? (often you get a white colouring with other solvents)
Can you use dry ice for carbon dioxide?
I can't buy this in Brazil sadly, what are the alternatives?
Whats that thing in the middle

I need help, I cannot understand the importance of the flare. I'm guessing that it's an outlet for the gass that did not get condensed. I might be wrong, but even if I was right, why the flame tho?
Great idea you guys got there. do you want to know which coloric value the waste coming in your system has got? im working for a vision based waste analyzer system and maybe ik can help you out with your analytics :) if you are interested reply to this message.

Hi
Try using microwave to heat up plastic
I can design you a new reaction chamber
Nice Marangoni effect at 9 minutes
As of the name, I'd suggest something along the lines of: 1) Recycloplast 2) Plastoil, name alluding to all the -oil companies such as Statoil or Lukoil. I also think about trying it out in what I call "Kreosan" conditions (Kreosan is a genius YTber from city of Lugansk, who did wonders with very few materials). That's why I seek 2nd opinion: I think the best way to control the temperature and as a result control the pureness of fractions is to set up temperature gauges just before fraction collector and depending on the gauge's read adjust the amount of coolant in between various collectors.
So awesome to see others exploring plastic pyrolysis for fuel oils!! I've been doing R&D on this topic for 4 years now and soon will be testing my pyrolysis diesel in a diesel vehicle! Very exciting!
hey didn't juliain from nature jab channel did the same thing yall should hook up. save our oceans n the world
Its a nice cinnabar red that could be used for painting.
That must smell like a gypsy bonfire burning stolen cables for the copper.
Comment séparer l'essence du diesel ? Car votre système ne sépare pas
What happened to you guys? Any update on the project soon?

Have an insulated cap on top to get a better fraction with also less heat.
Just call the company "Good Fuel" and see where that takes you.
Hello Sir very intersting your video... I have a question... how much ácid HCL do you add to the oil, and what concetration is the acid i have 37% HCL acid, is ok... ?
This is really good Please sir how can one get in touch with you I'll like to work with you please
What is the net loss , I seen another video of one Ty got it 70 /30
Materials list please?
I definitely would be interested in a solvent recycling video. Thank you for this video. I am ordering five gallons DCM now.
Hope you have had a complete and speedy recovery. Sorry for the late add on with respect to this. This was the first time I heard. Prayers ❤
What the input output on this system pyrosis typically take more energy then it output
My plan: scalpel, scotchbright wheels, chloroform dip, maybe polyurethane after. The idea is each step takes less than 5 minutes of time (not including drying times) so I can do the least amount of effort and still retain the pla color. Wish me luck!
which ethanol do you use after the water wash?
Your voice is better than AI
Hello! Can I do it with a 60% concentration?
chemplayer videos why you don't mention that like you are the men behind the video 😂
All these videos are filmed in my own lab! As I said in other videos I love and adore chemplayer! They inspired me to do chemistry on YT. But what you imply that this is just a chemplayer video reuploaded is simply not true! Best Elias
To get rid of O2 wouldnt an idea to start small fire in chamber (burning wood or something ) before closing the lid ? Just like candle in jar it should burn out the oxygen.
I guess it's easier to obtain a rather simple mixtures of gaseous liquids then gas, oil and biochar. The components in the liquid each condense then at their own temperature so separation is easy. I am layman but from what I read so far, it's like low temperatures cause biochar and tar to form while high temperatures give rise to lighter components. But I wonder if the temperature could not be lower if a suitable hydrogen carrier is added. Which one? No idea but urea is already tried out it seems.
